- To provide accessible &subsidized medical treatment to those in need of financial support as the life-threatening kidney diseases are often high-priced and inaccessible to the bottom rungs of the society.
- To set up support groups for those affected by kidney disease and encourage ‘peer mentoring’ thus instilling hope, confidence & strength in the minds of people.
- Promoting the ethical & professional standards among the stakeholders of Paediatric Nephrology by imparting knowledge, training & enhancing their skill-set to respond appropriately in the ecosystem.
Vision:
Kids Kidney Care endeavours to ensure prevention and treatment of kidney diseases in Children by extending medical care at a subsidized rate, and contribute towards enhancing Nephrology support in India.
Objectives:
- To spread awareness and recommendations to government bodies, philanthropic institutions and others concerned in contributing towards the cause of addressing kidney diseases in Children.
- Accessibility to nephrology medical care to underprivileged patients especially for dialysis treatment & transplant that is often unreachable and unaffordable to many.
- Creating a supportive environment by forming support groups consisting of people that have experienced/experiencing kidney diseases with a goal of overcoming & coping with the presenting problem.
